Opening night of the Haunted Rail Trail on October 15th went off with a bang with 530 kids, teenagers, and adults converging at the Coal House for a fun night. The next two nights (Oct 20 and 21) brought in over 500 happy faces and families. Talking to people – they were really amazed and surprised at everything that goes on a Haunted Trail Night. Before and after the haunted tour you can experience Live music, juggler extraordinaire, balloon twister, clowns, mascots, food/drink, dance party, and more. Last weekend weekend Voodoo Highway and the Beatles Band took the stage. This Friday the Beatles Band rocks the Coal House again as does Five Days Back. As for the tour itself, you start by going up to the Haunted Coal House in groups of 20 and view the scary decorations and listen to the story of the train conductor who is haunted by his past. Then it is  a guided tour on the Rail Trail with various skits and acts, including clowns, zombies, witch, headless headley, grim reaper, the evil dentist, and even Santa and the Easter Bunny. The tours last about 15 minutes. If you have not been to the Haunted Rail Trail yet – come down to experience all the fun! It is not just the ghoulishly fun tour – there is so much entertainment for adults and kids. The final two Haunted Rail Trail Nights are October 27 and 28, 7-9pm at the Coal House. Admission is $5 and ages 4 and under are free. The tours are kid friendly.  With any questions, please call 607-221-3727.
