For the past couple of years, we have hosted a free track meet and workout program on the Rail Trail at the Coal House. This fun program encourages all ages and abilities to join in. This years program starts on May 28th and goes until August 27th and takes place every Monday from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. The Zumba starts at 6:00pm and the track meets start at 6:20pm. Participants do have the option to participate in both.

The Track Meets are timed and a race clock will be out to see your time. Results will be posted on If you don’t want your results to be posted, just let us know. The track events include the 1/2 mile at  6:20pm. the mile at 6:35pm. and the 2 mile at 6:50pm. The track meets will run a little later than 7:00pm if you plan on running the 2 mile. The Zumba workouts will be conducted by JAM Fitness, Zumba with CJ, and Cass-Blass Zumba. The workout will be approximately 30-45 minutes long.

Post-race refreshments and smoothies will be provided after the workout and track meet. There will also be blood pressure screenings and health information. Monday workouts is sponsored by UHS. This is a free event, but everyone must register and agree to waiver form at if you plan on participating in any of the track meets or workouts.
